Rainbow Mix Swiss Chard is a feast for the eyes and the table—its towering, vibrantly colored stems in red, yellow, orange, pink, and white hold tender, earthy-flavored leaves that work beautifully in sautés, stir-fries, soups, and fresh salads. One of the most ornamental vegetables in the kitchen garden, it looks as breathtaking in a flower border as it does in a raised bed. Harvest outer leaves continuously from early summer through hard freeze for months of beauty and flavor.

Growing Instructions: Direct sow in early spring or late summer—chard tolerates light frost and handles summer heat far better than spinach or lettuce. Thin seedlings to 9–12 inches and add the thinnings directly to salads. Harvest outer leaves first, leaving the center crown to keep producing prolifically.
