German Chamomile is the herb of calm and comfort—its delicate white daisy flowers carry an unmistakably sweet, apple-like fragrance that has been trusted for relaxation, digestion, and healing for thousands of years. Easy to grow and prolific once established, this annual fills the garden with cheerful blooms while providing an endless supply of flowers for tea, tinctures, and natural skin care. Harvest in the morning when flowers are fully open for the highest potency and best flavor.
Growing Instructions: Surface sow in early spring or fall—chamomile seeds need light to germinate, so do not cover with soil. Press gently into moist soil and keep consistently moist until sprouts appear. Thin to 6–8 inches. Self-seeds freely; once established, it naturalizes beautifully and returns year after year.
