Crackerjack Marigolds are the giants of the marigold world—their enormous 4-inch pompom blooms in vibrant golds, tangerines, oranges, and yellows create a spectacular display that has been brightening gardens for generations. Beyond their beauty, these heirloom African marigolds are powerhouse companion plants that deter nematodes, aphids, and garden pests, protecting neighboring vegetables while feeding pollinators all summer long. Grow them everywhere and grow them in abundance.
Growing Instructions: Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost, or direct sow after last frost in warm soil. Pinch seedlings at 6 inches to encourage bushier growth and more blooms. Deadhead spent flowers consistently to extend the season all the way through hard frost.
